About Crye*Leike Brock Real Estate

Crye*Leike Brock Real Estate is one of the oldest real estate firms in Cleburne County, having been formed in 1973 as Moody Real Estate. In 1974, Joe Brock acquired the company from Walter Moody, changed the name to Brock and Associates Real Estate, and operated from it's present location in Heber Springs until 1995, when he retired.  During this period the company established itself as one of the leading real estate firms in the Greers Ferry Lake Area.

On January 1, 1995, C. Larry Anderson and Charles H. Tolman acquired the company from Joe Brock as well as the building from which the company does business.  Joe and Alene, his wife, are now retired but continue to live in Heber Springs.  Charley and Larry operated the partnership for almost five years, during which time the real estate company prospered as well as certain real estate developments which they sponsored as an adjunct to the sales effort.  On Memorial Day 1999, Charley suffered a stroke and has since died.  He continues to be greatly missed by those who knew and worked with him.  His Widow, Natalie, still resides in Heber Springs.

In July of 2006, the company underwent another name change to Crye*Leike Brock Real Estate when it became a franchise of Crye-Leike, the #1 real estate company in the South.  In January of 2008, Larry Anderson stepped down as principal broker and his son, Boyd Anderson, assumed the leadership role of the firm.

“I look forward to this new chapter in my life and have every confidence Boyd will provide excellent direction for the company,” said Larry Anderson.  “He has been deeply involved in our franchise affiliation with Crye-Leike, REALTORS.”

“My father’s leadership has been a big factor in the company’s success, but I have the greatest confidence in the ability of our sales team,” said Boyd Anderson.  “From seasoned veterans to energetic agents that are at the beginning stages of a new career, I couldn’t ask for a better group.”

Boyd Anderson joined the company in 2004 working with buyers and sellers in and around Cleburne, White and Van Buren counties.  He specializes in residential real estate with a focus on lakefront and river front properties.  Anderson is a member of the Cleburne County Board of Realtors and serves on the CARMLS Users Group.  He’s also a member of the Arkansas Realtors Association and the National Association of Realtors.

At the present time, the company has 20 licensed agents working from two locations, Heber Springs and Greers Ferry.  Crye*Leike Brock Real Estate continues to claim the largest market share of any of the companies operating in the lake area.  We believe that teamwork and a positive attitude are responsible for our success and are dedicated to serving our customers with the highest degree of professionalism and integrity.

We hope you will choose Crye*Leike Brock Real Estate to assist in your real estate needs.
